What is CrossFit to me?

IIt’s a community of like-minded people all wanting to improve their Quality of life. CrossFit has not only improved my overall health and fitness; the opportunity to grow friendships with people I would not have otherwise met. As a coach, there is no better feeling than watching men and women push their bodies to new heights.

What is CrossFit to me?

To me, Crossfit is about pushing yourself to achieve things you never thought possible, being part of a comprehensive community that is supporting regardless of where you are in your fitness journey.
I discovered Crossfit about eight years ago, and I find that there is always an area of your fitness you can improve. CrossFit has been the base for all my training from half marathons to obstacle racing. I believe that Crossfit is perfect for anyone wanting to make a healthy change in their life and have fun at the same time.

I started training at CrossFit hammer and tong in 2016. At first, I was so nervous as it was something I never thought I would be able to do, but very quickly fell in love with the sport.

After coming from a competitive gymnastics background for 13 years, CrossFit has helped me regain confidence and given me a purpose.

The versatility that CrossFit offers on a daily bases is just one reason why CrossFit is for everybody and why I love it.

The reason I wanted to start coaching my fellow athletes is that I love being able to pass on my knowledge that allows others to achieve their goals, conquer fears, and to be able to see improvement in not only CrossFit but every aspect of their lives.

What is Hammer & Tong to me?

I started Crossfit two years ago & immediately fell in love with the sport & training philosophy. I wanted to start training others because I love motivating people & seeing people progress and achieve their goals. I love how CrossFit always has more to offer – there is still something for you to work on or get better at. I love the feeling of getting better at techniques and getting stronger, and seeing other people achieve these things is just as rewarding for me as making them for myself.

Seeing people’s bodies change & their confidence boost as they get better at CrossFit is one of my favorite parts about being a coach.”
